Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Buzz Academy (the "Platform"). "Buzz Academy," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Platform. "You" refers to any user of the Platform, including "Creators" (people who publish courses/coaching) and "Users" (people who access content).

2. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be legally able to form a contract where you live.
• You are responsible for your account, credentials, and all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Platform role (Buzz Academy is not the creator)

The Platform is a technology service that helps Creators publish content and manage communities, and helps Users discover and access that content. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by Buzz Academy, Buzz Academy is not a party to any relationship or agreement between a Creator and a User and does not supervise, direct, or control Creator content or services.

5. Creator terms (additional obligations for Creators)

• You are responsible for your content and services. You alone are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your content, coaching, communications, and any promises/claims you make.
• No prohibited content. You may not publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful, or that violates these Terms.
• Compliance. You must comply with all applicable laws (including advertising/marketing rules, consumer protection, and any licensing/credential requirements that apply to you).
• No impersonation. Do not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, results, affiliations, or endorsements.
• Client data. If you collect or process personal data from Users (including via messages), you are responsible for handling it lawfully and securely.

6. User terms

• Content is for informational/educational purposes only. Creators are independent and their content may not be suitable for your situation.
• You are responsible for your decisions and actions. Do not rely on Platform content as medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
• Respect community rules and other members. Do not harass, dox, spam, or attempt to access accounts or data you do not own.

7. Payments, pricing, refunds

Some courses or communities may be paid. Prices, access entitlements, and any refund policies are set by the Creator unless Buzz Academy states otherwise. Buzz Academy may facilitate payment processing but does not guarantee refunds or outcomes. We may suspend access for suspected fraud or chargebacks.

8. Intellectual property

• Your content. Creators retain ownership of their content. By posting content, you grant Buzz Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, and display your content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Platform.
• Platform IP. Buzz Academy and its licensors own the Platform, software, and branding. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the Platform.
• Infringement. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us (see Contact). We may remove or restrict access to content.

9. Content moderation and enforcement

We may (but are not obligated to) monitor, remove, or restrict content or accounts to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the Platform and users. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion where permitted by law.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUZZ ACADEMY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. BUZZ ACADEMY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT OR RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR ACHIEVED.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUZZ ACADEMY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REVENUE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUZZ ACADEMY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLATFORM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BUZZ ACADEMY FOR THE PLATFORM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

12. Creator indemnity (important)

If you are a Creator, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Buzz Academy and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your content, coaching, communications, and services; (b) your marketing claims, guarantees, or representations; (c) your violation of law or these Terms; (d) infringement or misappropriation of any intellectual property or privacy rights; or (e) disputes between you and any User.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access (and remove or restrict content) if we believe you violated these Terms, pose a risk to the Platform or others, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

14. Disputes

Dispute procedures and required terms (such as arbitration, venue, governing law, or class action waivers) depend on your jurisdiction and how Buzz Academy is organized. If you want maximum legal protection, have a lawyer tailor this section for your jurisdiction and business entity.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Buzz Academy collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Platform.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: such as name, email, profile details, and authentication identifiers.
• Content and communications: messages, posts, uploads, course data, and related metadata.

We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and why we need it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is 100% secure; you use the Platform at your own risk.

7. Your choices

• You can update certain account information in your profile (where available).
• You can request account deletion by contacting us (see Contact).
• You may have additional rights depending on your location (access, deletion, objection, portability).

8. Children

The Platform is not intended for children. Do not use the Platform if you are under the age required to consent to online services where you live.
